Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of restaurant supervisor or food and beverage industry experience or equivalent combination of education training and experience
  • Ability to obtain food handler’s certificate from Tarrant County or equivalent state certificate within 10 days of hire
  • Ability to obtain Serv-Safe Certification Food Protection Manager from Tarrant County or equivalent state certificate within 15 days of hire
  • Must pass federal national criminal background check and credit check
  • Must have valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must pass pre employment physical drug screen and functional assessment Level 2
  • Ability to maintain professional pleasant demeanor
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of restaurant supervisor or food and beverage industry experience or equivalent combination of education training and experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment contribute as a team member and treat coworkers subordinates and customers with respect
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to produce excellent high quality food
  • Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines prioritize and organize work
  • Must have flexibility and adaptability especially during times of change

Job Duties

  • Provide management and support for kitchen staff ensuring efficiency in daily operations
  • Monitor food production ordering cost quality and consistency daily ensuring financial performance
  • Ensure all operations recipes specifications and training materials are current and maintained
  • Create work schedules for assigned staff address scheduling conflicts and ensure sufficient staffing levels
  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures for kitchen and food service areas
  • Coordinate food orders work alongside cooks determine inventory needs stocking and ordering
  • Manage and maintain sanitation safety standards kitchen equipment maintenance arrange equipment repairs
  • Work with suppliers ensure quality goods at affordable prices
  • Maintain sanitation standards per federal regulations local health codes participate in daily safety cleanliness inspections
  • Perform managerial functions within Point of Sale system
  • Maintain cash handling accountability and profit and loss authority
  • Perform any restaurant position duties as needed including cooking and cleaning
  • Assist with marketing promotional programs to build sales
  • Meet greet customers organize reservations offer menu advice address concerns receive feedback
  • Control operational costs identify ways to cut waste
  • Perform related duties as directed
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with public coworkers and others
