Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
  • Ability to manage inventory and vendor relationships
  • Physical stamina to stand walk and lift moderate weights
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven culinary experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or similar establishment
  • Ability to lead motivate and mentor kitchen staff to achieve high performance and maintain a positive work environment
  • Strong organizational skills to handle a fast paced kitchen
  • A keen eye for quality presentation and portion control
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 6 8 hours
  • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs e g menus high chairs booster seats
  • Reach bend and stoop occasionally
  • Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment
  • Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast paced setting

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation of menu items
  • Lead train and mentor kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
  • Ensure food safety freshness and adherence to recipe standards maintaining high quality culinary offerings
  • Monitor inventory levels order supplies and manage vendor relationships to minimize waste and control costs
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards including food handling and sanitation practices
  • Generate reports on kitchen performance inventory levels and food cost analysis
