Job Requirements

  • Preference given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two-year culinary arts school or equivalent technical training
  • five years restaurant industry work including two to three years supervisory experience
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • professional appearance
  • bilingual and multicultural experience preferred
  • smartphone capable of running company applications required
  • obtain New Mexico liquor server's license and Food Handlers card within 90 days
  • able to lift and move up to 100 pounds
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to work in fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
  • able to handle stressful situations professionally
  • maintain confidentiality
  • work independently with good judgment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two-year culinary arts school or equivalent technical training in food and beverage
  • five years restaurant industry experience including two to three years progressive supervisory experience in hotel or chain restaurant food production
  • good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • professional appearance
  • bilingual and multicultural experience preferred
  • ability to obtain New Mexico liquor server's license and Food Handlers card within 90 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Direct kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
  • ensure food safety and health standards are met
  • train and assist in hiring and promoting employees
  • address employee concerns and resolve conflicts
  • manage workforce levels according to production needs
  • assist in controlling production cost and product waste
  • set up, stock, and service assigned food outlets using specified methods
  • complete daily financial documents and reports
  • meet attendance guidelines and adhere to company policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
