Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • 5-6 years related experience in high level restaurants and or hotels
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Adherence to hotel/company loss prevention guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

  • Must adhere to all hotel/company loss prevention guidelines

Job Duties

  • Ensure the quality of food items and notify manager if product does not meet specifications
  • Ensure production of food in a timely manner
  • Prepare food maintaining quality, taste and appearance standards
  • Control proper usage and rotation of food
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas
  • Alert Chef or supervisor to any food quality issues
  • Engage with guests in open kitchen, explaining products and building relationships
