Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years kitchen supervisor experience
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • capability to lead a team of up to 10 union members
  • knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and food handling regulations
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
  • prepare fish and meats
  • assist and support kitchen team members
  • work in various positions or at various stations as needed
  • set up daily specials and happy hour food
  • visually inspect food quality and presentation of all food leaving kitchen
  • interact with guests to confirm satisfaction as well as allergies and dietary restrictions
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company food handling and food storage procedures
