Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Open availability to work AM and PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a passion for hospitality and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
- Five years culinary experience in a high volume and fast-paced full-service restaurant kitchen
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
- Prepare fish and meats
- Assist and support kitchen team members
- Set up daily specials and happy hour food
- Visually inspect food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company food handling and food storage procedures
