Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisor role
  • Valid food handlers permit
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Basic budgeting knowledge
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a kitchen supervisor role
  • Food handlers permit required
  • Ability to lead by example and create a positive team culture
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to quickly assess and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in managing server requests
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and limited supervision
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions

Job Duties

  • Provide hands-on leadership in day-to-day operations by directly supervising and assisting the kitchen team
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of food products to ensure consistency with food preparation, presentation, and delivery standards
  • Train kitchen staff in safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing plans including preparing schedules and covering shifts
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of server requests
  • Operate within budget constraints
