Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen employees
  • train and develop all new employees
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen
  • ensure that all food is made to specification
  • update specification books
  • ensure proper kitchen opening and closing duties are followed
  • complete prep lists and line checks daily
  • stock walk-ins and storage areas properly
  • maintain proper inventory levels for food items and communicate concerns
  • ensure all sanitation rules are followed
  • perform food preparation duties as needed
  • run the kitchen from the expo line when needed
  • act as expo during busiest times
  • communicate needs to kitchen manager
  • report broken equipment to kitchen manager
