Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as lead cook or kitchen manager
- Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and conflict management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Willingness to undergo post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks
Job Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a kitchen manager or lead cook
- Knowledge of a wide range of recipes and standard kitchen procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Conflict management abilities and critical thinker
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
- High school diploma/GED a plus but not required
- Previous experience as lead cook or supervisor
Job Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
- Supervise food prep and cooking
- Ensure correct plating and temperature of food
- Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
