Job Requirements

  • Three years culinary experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation, proper knife handling, temperature control and sanitation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet production and service time schedules
  • Exceptional customer service, leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Current Serve Safe food handlers permit

Job Duties

  • Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef in supervising and coordinating the food and beverage activities of the kitchen staff
  • Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served efficiently and timely
  • Manage kitchen staff in a professional and efficient manner according to guidelines
  • Oversee adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate multiple tasks to meet production and service schedules
  • Implement SAVOR recipes, menus and production sheets
  • Adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes in kitchen operations
