Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-6 years related experience in high level restaurants or hotels
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language(s)
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
  • ability to communicate effectively before groups
  • adherence to hotel/company loss prevention guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree
  • 5-6 years related experience at high level restaurants or hotels
  • must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff
  • must adhere to all hotel/company loss prevention guidelines

Job Duties

  • delivers superior internal and external hospitality by ensuring every interaction includes outgoing and proactive guest service
  • ensure the quality of food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specifications
  • ensure production of food in a timely manner
  • prepare food so that quality, taste and appearance of food is in accordance with resort standards
  • control proper usage and rotation of food
  • maintain a neat, clean and sanitary workstation and ensure overall kitchen cleanliness
  • engage members and guests in an open kitchen environment explaining products and building relationships
