Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Moderate hearing and excellent vision for safety
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to small equipment sizes
- Capacity to bend knees and maintain mobility throughout the workday
- Ability to stand continuously during preparation and service hours
- Moderate comprehension and literacy
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience in food service or hospitality management
- Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and solve operational problems
- Excellent vision and hearing for safety
- Moderate speech communication skills
- Good comprehension and literacy to analyze budgets and procedures
Job Duties
- Supervise the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food to ensure quality and consistency
- Supervise human resources in the kitchen production and preparation areas including training, developing and coaching staff
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling food and labor costs
- Promote the Accident Prevention Program to reduce liabilities
- Counsel and recommend discipline or termination as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with franchise, federal, state and corporate standards
