Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Moderate hearing and excellent vision for safety
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to small equipment sizes
  • Capacity to bend knees and maintain mobility throughout the workday
  • Ability to stand continuously during preparation and service hours
  • Moderate comprehension and literacy

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience in food service or hospitality management
  • Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage staff and solve operational problems
  • Excellent vision and hearing for safety
  • Moderate speech communication skills
  • Good comprehension and literacy to analyze budgets and procedures

Job Duties

  • Supervise the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food to ensure quality and consistency
  • Supervise human resources in the kitchen production and preparation areas including training, developing and coaching staff
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment to meet health and safety standards
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling food and labor costs
  • Promote the Accident Prevention Program to reduce liabilities
  • Counsel and recommend discipline or termination as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with franchise, federal, state and corporate standards
