Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of relevant experience in food service management or a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of food service operations and management principles
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and maintain auditory and visual acuity as required
- Ability to train, develop, and supervise kitchen staff
- Willingness to enforce disciplinary measures and uphold company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a related position within the hospitality or food service industry
- Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and analyze budgets
- Moderate hearing and excellent vision for safety purposes
- Ability to exercise moderate speech communication skills
Job Duties
- Supervise the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the kitchen to ensure a quality, consistent product is produced which conforms to all franchise standards
- Supervise human resources in the production and preparation areas of the kitchen in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees while providing a safe work environment
- Train, develop, empower, coach and counsel employees
- Recommend discipline and termination as appropriate
- Schedule and supervise the maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling all labor and food costs
- Promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses
