Job Requirements
- Three years of culinary experience within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques including proper knife handling
- Understanding of temperature control and sanitation standards
- Ability to read and follow recipes, menus, and production sheets
- Strong multitasking and time management capabilities
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Must hold a current Serve Safe food handlers permit

Job Duties
- Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef in supervising and coordinating the food and beverage activities of the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared in an efficient and timely manner for the facility food service operation
- Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served in an efficient and timely manner
- Manage kitchen staff in a professional and efficient manner according to guidelines
- Understand and execute recipes, menus, and production sheets accurately
- Maintain proper food preparation standards including knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation
- Coordinate multiple tasks and meet production and service time schedules
- Adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes within the kitchen environment
