Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary arts or culinary certificate preferred
  • at least two years of kitchen supervisory experience
  • ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong leadership capabilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts or culinary certificate preferred
  • at least two years of experience in large, complex kitchen operations
  • strong focus on food and beverage programs
  • experience in hospitality and brand management
  • proven leadership and communication skills
  • ability to motivate and train staff effectively
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • professional maturity and self-confidence

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including opening and closing tasks
  • monitor equipment operability and perform food safety walkthroughs
  • supervise and coordinate kitchen team activities and monitor team member check-ins
  • assist kitchen management with inventory and preparation
  • ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • maintain cleanliness, repair and maintenance of kitchen areas
  • train kitchen staff on safety and operational procedures
  • report equipment repairs and team member issues to management
  • perform additional duties as assigned
