Job Requirements

  • Culinary Arts or Culinary Certificate preferred
  • Minimum two years of experience in large, complex kitchen operations
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate kitchen team members
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional maturity and self-confidence
  • Capability to create and maintain a cooperative team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary Arts or Culinary Certificate preferred
  • At least two years of experience in large, complex kitchen operations
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage programs and hospitality
  • Experience in brand management within a culinary setting
  • Proficient in training and supervising kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including opening and closing tasks
  • Ensure equipment is operational and perform food safety walkthroughs
  • Monitor team member check-ins and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist Kitchen Management with inventory, food preparation, presentation, safety, and sanitation
  • Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Supervise cleanliness, organization, and side work to meet kitchen goals
  • Train kitchen staff and demonstrate safety techniques
  • Report equipment repairs and team member injuries or issues promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
