Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years culinary industry experience
  • proven leadership ability
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist Head Kitchen Manager in food production
  • train, manage, and develop kitchen staff team members
  • schedule kitchen staff according to labor forecasts and budgets
  • develop a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house
  • ensure adherence to recipe guidelines for quality, presentation, and food safety
  • maintain proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • uphold a safe and sanitary work environment by meeting safety and sanitation requirements
  • train kitchen staff in sanitation practices and manage cleaning and stock rotation schedules
  • complete weekly and monthly food and supply inventories
