Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a high volume restaurant grilling steaks
  • Desire to lead, coach and mentor
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • A passion for food and consistently delivering a great guest experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • College or culinary management degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in a high volume restaurant grilling steaks
  • Desire to lead, coach and mentor
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products desired
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • A passion for food and consistently delivering a great guest experience
  • 1-2 years restaurant management experience as a manager, kitchen manager or lead role desired
  • Bi-lingual desired

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and coaching for all back of the house team members including food preparation, production, safety and sanitation
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with all back of the house performance appraisals
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with writing the bi-weekly schedule
  • Coordinate training and ongoing development of back of the house team members
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with orders of all food and supplies especially during vacations
  • Ensure proper staffing levels by recruiting, interviewing and hiring talented team members
  • Communicate with the management team
  • Act as support system when the Kitchen Manager is on vacation
  • Maintain a spotlessly clean and safe restaurant at all times
  • Ensure highest quality levels of products and western hospitality
