Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience cooking at a professional level (3 years)
- Food Protection Manager Certification
- CA Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Kitchen management experience (3 years preferred)
- Experience supervising and scheduling staff
- Experience planning menus and preparing meals

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate meals for campus programs, events, meetings, and disaster services
- Order food and manage weekly inventory
- Ensure food donations and storage comply with safety standards
- Maintain record of food donations and meal statistics
- Schedule kitchen operations for efficient meal services
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and volunteers on food safety and handling
- Ensure compliance with personnel policies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Ensure kitchen meets County regulations and inspections for Senior Nutrition Meals
- Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance
- Complete required reports
- Manage kitchen budget and maintain vendor relationships
- Work closely with the Senior Nutrition Manager and Director of Housing Programs to meet meal needs
- Other related duties as required
