Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Experience across multiple stations including grill, sauce, fry, and cold prep
  • Minimum 6 months as a lead cook or supervisor
  • Strong knife skills and mastery of standard culinary techniques
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, especially Teams and Excel
  • Knowledge of basic labor principles and inventory/receiving operations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Ability to stay effective in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and support any station as needed
  • Conduct inventory checks, line checks, and ensure stations are properly set before every shift
  • Maintain food quality standards through regular audits of flavor, presentation, temperature, and portioning
  • Train line cooks on recipes, procedures, and kitchen best practices
  • Prepare daily prep lists and communicate any supply issues, equipment problems, or ingredient inconsistencies
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including temperature logs, uniform standards, and sanitation
  • Inspect kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning
  • Motivate and coach team members to maintain a professional, positive kitchen environment
  • Assist with team scheduling and adjust task assignments during volume spikes
  • Coordinate with front-of-house teams for smooth, timely service
