Job Requirements
- Preferred 1-2 years kitchen supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate in English
- Physical ability to grasp, lift, and carry goods weighing up to 100 lbs
- Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and manner
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to work regular attendance schedule
Job Qualifications
- Preferred 1-2 years kitchen supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times
- Ability to communicate well with guests
- Willingness to help co-workers and be a team player
- Ability to apply basic supervisory skills including planning, organizing, directing, coaching, training and disciplining employees
- Ability to operate all types of kitchen equipment
- Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery
- Ability to grasp, lift, and carry or move goods weighing up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule
Job Duties
- Assign and direct the work and train kitchen associates to maximize productivity and minimize waste
- Inspect daily use records with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure estimates are filled correctly and associates follow estimates
- Pull all food needed for daily production from walk-in box and utilize leftovers
- Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Attend all associates meetings, provide suggestions on solving associates problems, promote effective communication within food production areas
- Maintain and supervise good housekeeping practices in all kitchen areas, enforce clean as you go policy
- Inspect all work stations ensuring proper set-up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Prepare daily production charts
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
