Job Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends
- full-time availability Thursday to Monday 11 AM to 7:30 PM
- experience in nutrition services or food service management
- understanding of hospital policies and procedures
- ability to coordinate a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- sensitivity to cultural diversity
- capable of assisting with nutrition assessments if qualified
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management or related field preferred
- prior supervisory or management experience in nutrition services or healthcare setting
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to support and promote cultural diversity and inclusion
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficiency in nutritional assessments if applicable
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate nutrition service activities
- implement policies and procedures for cafeteria management
- oversee food preparation, distribution, and service
- ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- assist Dietitian with nutrition assessments if qualified
- promote staff development and training
- support cultural diversity and inclusivity in patient care and work environment
