Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods
- minimal travel required within property and surrounding area
- strong organizational and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of culinary experience with supervisory experience preferred
- excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- experience delegating tasks and maintaining fast service speed
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal laws/regulations
- hire and train kitchen staff in specific stations and cross-train as necessary
- create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage, especially for the lunch rush
- maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
- schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
- respond personally to guest comments, complaints, and concerns to ensure satisfaction
- maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
- comply with company and franchise standards and ensure products meet brand standards
- take over kitchen manager duties when absent
