Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of culinary experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to handle a physically demanding work environment
  • Little to no travel required outside the property and surrounding area

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of culinary experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience delegating tasks and maintaining fast speed of service
  • Ability to step in as acting kitchen manager as needed

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal laws/regulations
  • Hire and train kitchen staff in specific stations, and cross-train as necessary
  • Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure there are always enough workers to meet the demand, particularly for the lunch rush
  • Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
  • Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
  • Respond personally to guest's comments, complaints, and concerns while going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
