Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant culinary certification preferred
  • Minimum two years experience in kitchen supervisory role
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary Arts or Culinary Certificate preferred
  • At least two years of experience in large, complex culinary operations
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Effective leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
  • Experience in food and beverage program management

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including opening and closing tasks
  • Supervise and train kitchen team members
  • Conduct food safety walkthroughs and ensure compliance
  • Manage equipment functionality and maintenance reporting
  • Assist with inventory management and food preparation
  • Ensure consistent food presentation and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
