Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handlers Certification
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work under pressure and within extreme temperature ranges
- Ability to stand and perform physical job duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to use computer systems
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work various shifts for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate in Spanish helpful

- Ability to stand, walk, and perform essential job functions continuously
- Finger and hand dexterity to operate food machinery
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to access and accurately input information using computer systems
- Hearing and visual ability to detect signs of emergencies
- Ability to grasp, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs on a continuous schedule
Job Duties
- Select, train, and supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures related to food and beverage and local, state, and federal laws
- Ensure proper receiving, storage including temperature settings and rotation of food products to comply with health regulations
- Assign specific duties to team members for efficient kitchen operation
- Prepare all pantry food items according to standard recipes or supervisor specifications
- Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality
- Perform other duties as assigned
