Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a related kitchen role
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Commitment to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Previous dishwasher or kitchen steward experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and tools
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Job Duties
- Load, run, and unload the dishwasher with utensils, glassware, cookware, plates, and trays in a fast and efficient manner
- Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before they are put away on dish racks or used
- Maintain the dishwasher area to make sure it is clean and organized and that the wash cycle is always sanitary and operating at peak performance
- Mop and sanitize the dish room, kitchen floors, and dining room hallways, remove trash at the end of each shift to maintain safety and sanitation
- Sanitize work areas
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations
- Follow all safety procedures
- Assist with deliveries and basic food preparation tasks
- Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively
- Other duties as assigned
