Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years stewarding lead or supervisor experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- ability to perform detailed inventory and record keeping
- excellent knowledge of health department rules and regulations
- proficient in maintaining cleanliness and equipment sanitation
- ability to train and mentor new employees
- strong organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform and following company dress code policy
- participate with monthly inventory
- record breakage daily
- contribute to the profitability and effective operation by controlling china, glass, silver and equipment on a daily basis
- ensure all equipment is pulled and set up for each event
- maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment and back of the house areas
- help with training for new hires
- conduct daily kitchen inspection to ensure areas meet or exceed health department rules and regulations
- monitor issue and control all ware washing, cleaning supplies
- generally responsible for the sanitation and day to day operation when supervisor or manager is not present
