Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in kitchen or dishwashing roles preferred
  • Availability to work rotating shifts including every other weekend and holidays
  • Possession of Act 34 background clearance
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines related to sanitation
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to adhere to recycling and waste disposal protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred
  • Possession of Act 34 clearance
  • Ability to adhere to strict cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow safety procedures for chemical use
  • Good interpersonal skills for assisting with dining room service
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures
  • Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures while adhering to recycling guidelines
  • Cleans and maintains floors and walls in designated food service areas according to established procedures
  • Consistently adheres to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace
  • Assists in serving food and beverages to the residents in the dining room
  • Uses and maintains equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines and follows all safety procedures
