Job Duties
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers stations for hand washing pot washing station and waste compactor
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas and storage rooms tables utensils knives and equipment
- receive deliveries store perishable items properly and rotate stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas
- use chemical detergents disinfectants and rinses in three compartment sinks to wash dishes
- inspect stack clean items send dirty items back for washing
- soak and wash silverware properly
- separate and sort containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain garbage area
- clean and mop all assigned department areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down cardboard boxes and recyclables and place them in recycling bins
- adhere to company safety policies report accidents injuries hazardous conditions and complete safety training
- protect company property
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- develop and maintain positive work relationships and support team goals
- meet quality standards and expectations
- move lift transport push drag and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
- stand sit or walk for long periods
- reach overhead and below knees bend twist and lean as needed
- perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
