Job Duties

  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers stations for hand washing pot washing station and waste compactor
  • wash and disinfect kitchen areas and storage rooms tables utensils knives and equipment
  • receive deliveries store perishable items properly and rotate stock
  • ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas
  • use chemical detergents disinfectants and rinses in three compartment sinks to wash dishes
  • inspect stack clean items send dirty items back for washing
  • soak and wash silverware properly
  • separate and sort containers for dirty items
  • empty trash bins and maintain garbage area
  • clean and mop all assigned department areas
  • dispose of glass in appropriate containers
  • break down cardboard boxes and recyclables and place them in recycling bins
  • adhere to company safety policies report accidents injuries hazardous conditions and complete safety training
  • protect company property
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • develop and maintain positive work relationships and support team goals
  • meet quality standards and expectations
  • move lift transport push drag and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • stand sit or walk for long periods
  • reach overhead and below knees bend twist and lean as needed
  • perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
