Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No felony, theft or stealing convictions
  • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
  • Must pass background investigation
  • Must obtain and maintain gaming license
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of safe practices in kitchen environment
  • Ability to be organized
  • Ability to safely use and administer cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times
  • Ability to work in busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to perform in professional manner
  • Ability to obtain Food Handler's card

Job Qualifications

  • Some experience in restaurant or kitchen maintenance preferred
  • Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner
  • Clear communication skills with management

Job Duties

  • Responsible for keeping all equipment, utensils and containers clean and ready for use
  • Cleans floors, walls, wash tubs, counters, and shelves
  • Empties boxes and trash
  • Properly disposes of grease and garbage left in pots and pans
  • Defrosts and cleans refrigerators and iceboxes
  • Dumps and cleans the garbage cans
  • Stocks serving stations with dishes and utensils
  • Keeps all work areas clean, organized and free of trash
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and sanitized work area all while following all Tribal, City, State and Federal health/food safety regulations and codes
  • Ensures assigned venue/outlet/kitchen areas are taken care of and duties completed
  • Maintains clean and organized work stations and food prep areas free from clutter
  • Ability to understand and follow assigned tasks
  • Communicates clearly with Lead Kitchen Steward
  • Works according to established casino procedures
  • Operates within proper safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintains professional communication and a positive work environment
  • Contributes to team efforts to achieve related results
  • Performs other duties as required
