Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or kitchen work preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to stand for long periods
- physical ability to lift heavy items
- willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
- maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, storage areas, and kitchen surfaces
- ensure that all kitchen waste is disposed of properly and recyclables are sorted appropriately
- assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the kitchen staff
- help maintain inventory by keeping track of supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
- assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored in their designated locations
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environment
- adhere to health inspection standards and prepare the kitchen for inspections when necessary
- work closely with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
- contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and helping out where needed
