Job Requirements
- weekend availability including sundays
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to work shifts starting between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm with some variance on weekends
- ability to follow instructions and maintain kitchen standards
- must apply in person
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- knowledge of Cajun cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic understanding of food safety practices
Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation
- assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure timely food preparation
- monitor ingredient use and communicate shortages
- assist in opening and closing kitchen procedures
