Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen roles preferred
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- willingness to relocate to Rapid City SD
- valid food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques kitchen equipment and food preparation
- strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- food handler’s permit or equivalent certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift
- ensure the highest standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations including kitchen equipment and utensils
- assist with inventory management including stocking and rotating ingredients
- communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- follow portion control guidelines to reduce waste and ensure consistency
- assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- adhere to all health and safety regulations
