Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen roles preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
  • willingness to relocate to Rapid City SD
  • valid food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred
  • knowledge of basic cooking techniques kitchen equipment and food preparation
  • strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
  • team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • food handler’s permit or equivalent certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift
  • ensure the highest standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations including kitchen equipment and utensils
  • assist with inventory management including stocking and rotating ingredients
  • communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • follow portion control guidelines to reduce waste and ensure consistency
  • assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations
