Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- ability to exert over 60 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to stand, walk, squat, climb, balance, kneel, crawl, push, pull, grasp, feel, taste, smell, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms
- maintain strict compliance with safety procedures and company policies
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at required temperatures
- prepare foods in accordance with menu plans and Opaa! recipes
- operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other certified kitchen equipment
- keep work areas and kitchen clean and organized
- maintain inventory stock and practice FIFO procedures
- clean and maintain dishwashing equipment
- requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager
- prepare baked goods and present them appealingly
- batch cook to ensure quality and food presentation
- serve items with proper portions and utensils
- restock serving lines and condiments
- complete daily production and meal service records
- follow food safety and HACCP procedures including temperature logs
- comply with all safety rules and report unsafe conditions
- handle customer monies and operate cash registers as required
- complete paperwork including tray counts and meal reconciliations
- submit accurate work hours and notify supervisors of absences
- participate in meetings and required training
- promote and demonstrate company core values
