Job Requirements

- must be willing to work nights and weekends
- assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards
- ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
- follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations
- monitor ingredient inventory levels and report shortages to the assistant kitchen manager
- conduct regular line checks to ensure proper stock and quality
- adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- implement kitchen safety protocols to create a secure working environment
- ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
- work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- assist in training new kitchen staff members
- communicate effectively with team members and management
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
