Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to lift, carry, push, or move objects up to 25 pounds frequently and over 60 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, climb, balance, kneel, crawl for extended periods
- ability to recognize and follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures
- proficiency in basic math and literacy skills
- ability to operate kitchen equipment with proper certification
- willingness to work in wet, humid, hot, or noisy conditions
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- compliance with company timekeeping policies
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- commitment to maintain cleanliness and organization
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist with the set-up of serving lines and ensure all food is held at required temperatures
- assist in the preparation of foods in accordance with menu plans and recipes
- operate kitchen equipment with proper certification
- keep work areas neat, clean, and organized
- clean kitchen, cafeteria, equipment, and dishes
- maintain inventory stock with FIFO procedures and clean storage areas
- clean and maintain dishwashing equipment
- requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager
- prepare baked goods as required
- batch cook for quality and presentation
- set up serving/bar lines and restock items
- serve items with proper portions and hospitality
- maintain serving lines with necessary supplies
- prepare foods in strict compliance with menu plans
- follow standardized recipes consistently
- recognize reimbursable meals and follow meal pattern regulations
- keep accurate production records
- follow HACCP food safety processes and logs
- adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- participate in safety and daily meetings
- attend required training and promote company core values
- handle customer monies and operate cash register or POS
- complete daily paperwork and meal reconciliation
- submit work hours and notify supervisors of any absences
- perform other duties as assigned
