Job Requirements
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent attendance record
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (40-50lb)
- Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of some culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow recipes, portion control and presentation specification as set by the establishment
Job Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to the establishment standard
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with dishwashing as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
