Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of five years recent experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Leadership skills including rallying team and resolving conflicts
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- Professional communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- ServeSafe Certification
- Food Handler's Card current for all staff

Job Duties
- Ensure all kitchen-related company standards are followed and upheld by staff by using proper hiring, training and spot-checking techniques and by creating a culture of accountability
- Ensure all back-of-house staff are properly trained in all relevant areas and set up for success
- Create staff schedules fairly and timely per company policy
- Screen back-of-house applicants and conduct interviews using best practices to ensure legal compliance
- Partner with the General Manager to track and control store costs including labor, food, and waste to ensure profitability without sacrificing guest experience
- Assist kitchen staff when needed and occasionally support front-of-house team
- Supervise food temperature to ensure ingredients are kept at appropriate temperatures and stored properly while enforcing FIFO policy
- Ensure back-of-house opening and closing tasks and appropriate checklists are consistently completed
- Perform other tasks as assigned
