Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Industry-level knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to stand and move for prolonged periods up to 6 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a calm manner
  • Must have manual dexterity for handling silverware, stemware, and operating computers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Regular attendance and full-time availability
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Base knowledge of French cooking techniques
  • Moderate understanding of spirits and wine
  • Ability to understand and follow by the glass selections
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computational ability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, services, and facilities
  • High school or equivalent education required

Job Duties

  • Ensure all mise en place are set up and ready for service according to Addison SOP
  • Assist service colleagues in completing pre-shift mise en place including polishing all silverware, stemware, and completing side duties
  • Deliver a flawless dining experience providing exceptional food, service, decor, and presentations
  • Assist the Captain in upholding service standards and act as a secondary guest contact point
  • Help with the breakdown and clean-up of service areas including linens, ice buckets, and table resets
  • Maintain regular attendance with availability to work up to 40+ hours weekly
  • Follow all leadership assigned tasks and maintain knowledge of industry-standard food and beverage service
