Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current food handler’s permit
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire workday
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to handle repetitive motions and perform physical tasks required for the role

- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills to communicate with customers and fellow associates effectively

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Serves chef prepared salads and entrees from the chef case
- Slices meats and cheeses to order
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Packages kitchen products and puts them out on the sales floor
- Re-stocks the kitchen department and helps sort and put away kitchen products when deliveries come in
- Assists as needed throughout the kitchen department
