Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in stewarding kitchens or cleaning areas preferred
Must be able to read and communicate in English
Texas driver’s license with good driving record preferred
Must be 21+ years old due to vehicle insurance requirements

Job Duties

Deliver food to all kitchens including the cafeteria when needed
Assist in putting food and supplies away in the kitchen according to FIFO standards
Drive a golf cart and a small box truck to move food and equipment safely
Read event orders and lists to know what food and items are needed
Set up and take down stations for serving and cleaning dishes
Talk with the chef and banquet leaders to make sure all needs are met
Keep food and drink areas clean sanitized and well-organized
Help keep all kitchen equipment clean and in order with the steward team
Put kitchen tools and equipment back in the correct place after use
Keep kitchen areas clean by sweeping mopping taking out trash and restocking soap and paper towels
