Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food production or kitchen cooking
- Food safe certification
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety
- Ability to communicate in English
- Flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pleasant and accountable attitude
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in cooking kitchen products (BBQ, sushi and/or other cooked foods)
- Food safe certification
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
- Good understanding of kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Job Duties
- Produce the correct quantity of assigned products (BBQ, sushi and/or other cooked foods) based on orders received
- Perform production duties as assigned for various products (BBQ, sushi and/or other cooked foods), including preparing perishable foods, rice cooking, cutting meat and vegetables, stir-frying, deep frying and pan frying
- Control product quality, freshness, inventory level and wastage
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools in the production area and follow workplace safety procedures
- Assist customers by answering enquiries
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure food safety and safe work procedures
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
