Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Food handler's safety certification
  • Previous cafe, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Strong work ethic with ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation a plus
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to stand for most of the day
  • Ability to lift equipment or packaging ranging from 20 to 40 pounds
  • English language proficiency

Job Duties

  • Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, cups, lids, and other supplies throughout service
  • Keep workstations, counters, and equipment clean and organized
  • Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, utensils, and bar tools
  • Assist with trash, recycling, and general cleaning to maintain health and safety standards
  • Support baristas during peak hours with running drinks, stocking, and other needs
  • Prepare basic ingredients such as chopping, portioning, and assembling grab-and-go items
  • Follow recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Keep prep and storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled
  • Deliver food to various locations
  • Receive, check, and store deliveries according to standards
  • Assist with pastry case setup and restocking
