Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • Food handler certification preferred required after hire

Job Duties

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored and the kitchen remains well-stocked
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area and kitchen environment
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment during and after shifts
  • Handle waste disposal, recycling, and stock rotation according to company standards
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment issues promptly
  • Support the culinary team with various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations
