Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen as dishwasher, prep cook, or line cook
  • understanding of food preparation techniques and general food and beverage knowledge
  • ability to work calmly in a fast paced and high pressure environment
  • ability to stand and do physical work for up to 8 hours continuously
  • ability to lift and carry over 50lb
  • customer service experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • flexible schedule
  • weekends occasionally required

Job Duties

  • Maintain dining areas and service ware
  • attend to deliveries and properly store and organize incoming product
  • wash and sanitize dishes and disinfect food contact surfaces
  • clean equipment and kitchen space
  • assist chefs with food preparation and a la carte orders
  • stock ready to eat food and beverages
  • follow instructions from kitchen staff and adhere to food and cleanliness standards
  • work with chefs to plan menus and keep track of product
  • maintain professional conduct and establish positive relationships with fellow Bucks staff
