Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in banquet serving, food industry, and inventory oversight
- proficient organizational skills
- attention to detail
- effective communication
- knowledge of quality and health and safety regulations
- ability to prioritize as situations arise to stay within scheduled tasks
- professional attitude and appearance
- must be a Christian living a life dedicated to Christ
- willing to work full-time 40 hours per week including occasional weekends
- able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- willing to undergo background check, drug test, and motor vehicle authorization

Job Duties
- Warmly greet all guests including visitors, volunteers, vendors, employees, guests, donors, homeless men, women, and children
- establish and build healthy Christ-honoring relationships with guests while maintaining professional boundaries including guest confidentiality
- maintain an environment of love, grace, dignity and respect
- prepare kitchen and assist with all inventory needs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- serve meals as directed by the Food Service Manager
- assure health department standards are being followed
- assist and oversee assigned volunteers including training, monitoring, evaluating, and interacting
- assist with kitchen cleaning and dish-washing
- provide weekly reports as directed
- help put food donations away promptly
- rotate stock in pantries and freezers as instructed by the Food Service Manager
- assist with Food Bank donations
- keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitized
- sweep and mop floors at the beginning and end of shifts
- be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
- wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
- keep the food and supply storage areas organized
- take out the garbage
- help with routine food prep tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables when needed
- attend staff devotions, community meetings, and staff meetings as directed
- attend professional training and networking opportunities as directed
- provide weekly reports as directed
- perform other duties as assigned
