Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in grocery retail preferred

  • familiarity with merchandising and inventory management systems
  • capability to operate power machinery and use job tools safely

Job Duties

  • Plan and organize merchandise in the Kitchen Place Department
  • order merchandise to maintain proper inventory levels
  • train, coach and direct associates in the department
  • perform production and customer service functions
  • maximize store sales and profits
  • maintain proper pricing and product displays
  • merchandise end caps, power wings, mission tables, vignettes and cross merchandising
  • maintain signage, tags and promotional materials
  • update and maintain planograms
  • respond to customer and associate inquiries and complaints
  • use Magic System for ordering and inventory management
  • implement company programs and adhere to safety and sanitation policies
  • supervise and conduct performance reviews for direct reports
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department
  • execute the Marketplace Sales Plan fully
  • keep updated on planogram revisions and marketing communications
