Job Requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Background check
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Drug test
- Stand for shift duration
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy sacks of ingredients and perform physical tasks associated with the role
- Familiarity with operating industrial mixing equipment and handling bulk materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production recipes accurately
- Good organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Relevant experience in batch production or a similar role is preferred
- Machine and mechanical knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge of key safety disciplines such as LOTO, PPE, and machine guarding
- Must be able to work standing for up to eight hours per day
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn regularly
- Ability to regularly use ladders and stairs
Job Duties
- Measure and mix dry ingredients according to production recipes and specifications
- Safely lift and handle large sacks of ingredients and transport them to mixing stations
- Operate industrial mixers and other equipment used in the blending process
- Shovel mixed ingredients into carts and transport them to the production line for further processing
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of mixing and production areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or operational issues
- Maintain accurate records of ingredients used and batch production details
