Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with team members
  • willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • culinary degree preferred
  • previous kitchen management experience in casual dining preferred
  • at least one year of supervisory experience
  • strong decision-making problem-solving and leadership skills
  • ability to train and motivate staff effectively
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • discretion in handling confidential information

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations ensuring efficiency and quality
  • recruit train and develop a motivated kitchen team
  • promote team unity and a positive work environment
  • coordinate with hospitality teams for a seamless service experience
  • ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
  • manage food cost inventory and labor productivity
  • evaluate and guide kitchen staff performance
  • participate in food preparation and service as needed
  • continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness
  • engage in professional development to further restaurant management knowledge
